At Modernshade, we strive to deliver your order in a timely manner.

Standard orders are processed within the same working days you place your order. It takes about 1-7 business days to deliver your order, excluding weekends and holidays.
We currently ship standard ground delivery to the contiguous United States. Goods are shipped via Fedex.

Return Policy

We want you to love your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied, we will gladly accept your return within 10 days of purchase. To initiate a return please email support@modernshade.org with your name, order number and item you wish to return. If an order is canceled after it has already been shipped and is in transit, a 4.5% service fee will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee covers payment processing and order handling costs that are non-refundable once the shipment has been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for return shipping and will not be reimbursed. Once an order has been delivered, all costs associated with returning the item will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
All returned items must be in the original packaging, undamaged, unused and in good condition. If the product has signs of damage or use, a 25% fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Please remove all original shipping labels from the box and include the original packing list with your return.

Beautifully, actually! The Aurora louvers close to form a rain-shedding roof, and integrated concealed gutters channel water discreetly down through the posts — no dripping edges. One tip: keep the frame square during installation so the louvers seat perfectly. Rainy days stay cozy underneath!

Great question! The Aurora is crafted from galvanized steel throughout — both the frame and the louvers are galvanized steel with an elegant powder-coated finish. It carries a snow load of 50 kg/m² (about 10 lbs/sq ft). The Aurora performs very well in everyday conditions equivalent to a roughly 50-83 mph wind — securely anchored, of course. A wonderful blend of strength and style for your outdoor space!

It depends on the version — and both are lovely choices! The -SMP versions include both curtains and mosquito netting, while the base versions keep things open (side screens for the 10x12 can be added separately). Every Aurora includes charging ports and integrated gutters. Share the model you are considering and we will confirm exactly what comes with it!
